Srinagar, Mar 30: Jammu & Kashmir Bank has achieved a historic milestone in digital banking by processing an unprecedented 9.54 crore transactions worth ?13,900 crores in just six days leading up to Eid. This record-breaking feat across its digital platforms has drawn widespread appreciation from customers and businesses, reinforcing JK Bank’s dominance in digital financial services.

Umar Mukhtar, owner of Different Clothing Store, Chadoora, praised the bank’s digital efficiency, saying, “JK Bank’s mPay and UPI services were flawless throughout the Eid rush. Despite record transactions, our customers didn’t face even a minute’s inconvenience—this is digital banking at its best!”

Arif Bhat of Jan Bakers, HMT, highlighted the seamless experience, stating, “The real test comes during peak seasons. JK Bank’s digital services handled the Eid rush brilliantly without any disruption. This is the banking revolution we’ve been waiting for!”

Renowned broadcaster RJ Nasir emphasized the impact on digital transactions, noting, “The short queues at ATMs spoke volumes—JK Bank’s UPI services were top-notch, making shopping and money transfers effortless. They’ve successfully digitalized the Eid economy!”

The bank registered 3.07 crore mPay Delight+ transactions amounting to ?5,383 crores, while its UPI services handled 6.07 crore instant payments worth ?4,563 crores. The remaining transaction volume came from ATMs, Kiosk Banking, and other digital channels.

Ensuring uninterrupted service, JK Bank maintained 100% platform availability during peak loads, processing over 13,000 transactions per minute without any disruptions, despite handling three times the normal transaction volumes.

A senior JK Bank executive attributed this success to the bank’s continuous investment in digital infrastructure. “The bank has been making a lot of investments to ensure a seamless digital experience for our customers, and these customer testimonials are our greatest reward.
