Srinagar: A joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police and Punjab police have arrested a Kashmiri student studying at Central University Bathinda in a militancy related case, on Tuesday.
Police has identified detained scholar as Hilal Ahmed, a PhD student at Central University Bathinda.
Reports said that an arrest warrant was issued against him on suspicion of him being involved in militancy-related activities.
A police team led by a DySP has taken him under custody.
