Srinagar, Nov 28: A delegation of KTMF meets Mayor Srinagar Junaid Azim Matoo regarding some serious issues related to the trade community of Srinagar city. The delegation discussed some very important issues of the traders of Srinagar city which includes the sanitation bills which the SMC has circulated among all the traders of the city for collection of garbage from the business establishments.  

KTMF briefed the Mayor that SMC is charging the sanitation fee from traders on a very high rate and to pay this is not possible for every trader. The Mayor was told that all the traders whatsoever their trade is, are being charged the sanitation fee at a uniform rate of and at a very high rate per month which is a total injustice with all the community which may be revisited and a justified fee may be charged from the traders and that too from the current period so that we may afford that and be able to pay for the said services.

The Mayor gave a patient hearing towards all the demands and promised the delegation that all the issues of the trade community will be resolved soon with a fixation of fresh sanitation fee rates for trades according to their trades.

During the meeting the Mayor was accompanied by Sheikh Imran and Shafat Ahmad Mir.

KTMF delegation including Mohammad Sadiq Baqal, Shahid Hussain Mir, Mehraj-ud-Din, Mohammad Yaseen Guroo, Umer Bhat, Zahid Yousuf, Malik Raies, Ajaz Mir and al ther members present in the meeting thanked the Mayor for his regards towards the trade community.
