A man stabbed his wife to death with a knife in front of his children in their apartment in Lucknow after she fought with him for returning home late at night. After killing his wife, the man jumped from the third floor of society and suffered injuries when the children tried to lock him in a room.
The accused, Aditya Kapoor, worked at a clothing store. He returned home late on Saturday, which prompted a fight between the couple.
The couple’s two children witnessed their parents fighting with each other. They informed the police that their father stabbed their mother.
The children tried to lock their father in a room after the murder but he jumped from the third floor of the apartment. The accused has been admitted to a nearby hospital.
Aditya Kapoor had previously attempted suicide several times and often used to fight with his wife.
