Srinagar, June 07: KTMF delegation today attented special meeting with Dy Commissioner Srinagar Dr. Ajaz Asad to discuss the further strategy regarding opening of markets.
During the meeting the members from different business fraternity were present and most of the leaders suggested that markets may be allowed to open on alternate days.
KTMF President Mohammad Sadiq Baqal suggested the DC that this is the time now to open the markets on all days of the week. The DC told that the weekends will not be allowed at the present situation as the positive cases are still more than 6% and regarding the opening of the markets for the whole weeks could only be viewed as the percentage will be less tha 2 to 3%.
Regarding the vaccination of the traders the DC told that the the markets with 100% vaccination will be declared as Green Zone markets and it is enjoined upon all the traders to go for the vaccination as it will safeguard their life as well as the life of others.
KTMF President Mohammad Sadiq Baqal expressed that we hope that a positive response will be issued in a short period of time which will provide relief to the traders regarding opening of markets.
