Srinagar, Dec 1: The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Sunday forecasted cloudy weather for the next two days, with light rains and snow expected at higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir.
A MeT spokesman in Srinagar said that partly cloudy weather is expected today, with chances of light rain and snow on higher reaches in isolated areas by late evening or night.
“Generally cloudy conditions with light rain and light snow (at higher reaches) are expected in scattered places towards the evening of December 2nd, continuing into the morning of December 3rd,” he said. He added that the weather is expected to remain generally dry from December 4th to 7th.
On December 8th, the spokesman predicted generally cloudy weather with light rain or snow at higher altitudes. The weather is expected to stay dry again from December 9th to 12th.
