Bandipora, August 01: Security forces on Thursday morning claimed to have busted a militant hideout in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district

Official sources said that on a credible input, government forces including army’s 13JAKLI, Jammu and Kashmir police and other forces busted a militant hideout in lashkoot forest area of Chandeji in Bandipora.

“During the search operation, a hideout of militants was busted in the forest area,” the sources told.

They said arms and ammunition including 700 rounds of AK47 were recovered from the busted hideout.

Meanwhile, a senoir police officer told that Pathkoot police has registered a case under relevant sections of law and further investigations initiated in this regard,he said.(KNO)
