Shopain, April 17: Militants on Wednesday evening appeared in keegam village of shopian and offered gun salute.
Reports reaching KNO said that militants appeared at the grave of slain militant namely Bilal Ahmad and fired many shots in air to pay tribute to their colleague.
Locals also said that they heard many shots at around 9 pm however they don’t know what it actually was.
Bilal along with his associate namely Rahil from Ganderbal was killed in a brief shoot out in orchards of Pargochi Shopian on April 06.
Meanwhile a video has went viral on social media in which militant can be seen firing in air while shouting ‘Takbeer Takbeer’, which is believed to the video of today’s gun salute at Keegam
An official on condition of anonymity confirmed that gun salute was given to slain Bilal by militants at Keegam however video isn’t clear and authenticity of video is being checked.
