Srinagar, Dec 11: Senior National Conference leader Manzoor Ahmad Wani is likely to join Peoples Conference on Sunday here.
Sources told Wani, who was vice-president of NC’s central zone, is expected to join the party today in presence of its president Sajad Gani Lone and other leaders.
Manzoor had fought 2014 assembly election from Khan Sahib Assembly segment and secured more than 15000 votes.PC’s senior general secretary and influential Shia leader Imran Reza Ansari has also a sizeable influence in Khan Sahib Assembly segment.
Manzoor’s joining is expected to boost the electoral prospects of PC in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.(KNO)
