Srinagar, Oct 28: Minister for Health, Medical Education, Social Welfare, and Education, Sakeena Itoo, has assured that all promises made by the National Conference (NC) to the people of Kashmir will be fulfilled soon.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a review meeting in Sumbal Sonawari Sakeena Itoo stated that the government is gearing up to implement a new transfer policy to address the long-standing transfer issues faced by employees in various sectors across Jammu and Kashmir.
“Many employees have been serving in challenging areas for years, and their transfers are a priority for us,” she emphasized.
During her visit, Itoo inaugurated an auditorium at GDC Sumbal, constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 10 crore. She was accompanied by Director of Higher Education Tasaduq Wani, MLA Sonawari Advocate Hilal Akbar Lone, and other education officials.
Itoo also visits CHC Sumbal reviewed ongoing projects and promised to restore a non-functional dialysis machine by the following day.
“The elected government is dedicated to addressing public concerns. We are actively working to fill vacant positions in the health sector, which is a important issue in every district of Kashmir,” she added.
