Says, “They sack minister for anti-hindu remarks, we don’t even reprimand Governor for public boycott against Kashmir Muslims”

Srinagar, Mar 05: Former Chief Minister and National Conference Vice- President Omar Abdullah has said that one must make a  comparison between India and Pakistan on their record on religious intolerance, and said in Pakistan , a Minster is sacked for his remarks against Hindus, whereas in India a governor isn’t even reprimanded for announcing public boycott against Kashmiri Muslims.

“In Pakistan a state Minster is sacked for his remarks against Hindus. In India a state Governor isn’t even reprimanded for his public call to boycott & ostricise all Kashmiri Muslims. We like to compare ourselves to Pakistan so compare this fact as well.”

Omar was referring to

Pakistan Punjab’s information and culture minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan who has been removed from his ministry for making derogatory remarks against the Hindu community. (RNA)
