After PAGD, BJP delegation led by Ravinder Raina to also meet LG

Srinagar, May 14: A delegation of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) headed its president and parliament member Dr Farooq Abdullah will meet Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha on Sunday.

Source told that the delegation will meet the LG Sinha at 11:30 am tomorrow, where they will raise the issue of safety and security of Kashmiri Pandits following the killing of KP employee Rahul Bhat in Budgam on Thursday.

They said that the delegation will also comprise of PDP resident Mehbooba Mufti, CPI(M) leader M Y Tarigami and ANC senior vice-president Muzaffar Ahmad Shah.

Notably, this is for the first time that PAGD leaders will meet LG Sinha after the abrogation of article 370 and bifurcation of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.

Earlier, today PAGD, after several delegations of KP community members called on them, decided to meet LG Sinha to raise the issue of safety and security of KP members.

Meanwhile, sources also said that after PAGD delegation, BJP delegation headed by Ravinder Raina will also meet LG Sinha tomorrow. (KNS)
