KPDCL launches drive, says those whose outstanding is pending from last over 3 months will face action
Srinagar, Feb 21: The Kashmir Power distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has decided to disconnect the power connection of the consumers whose outstanding electricity tariff is pending for more than three months.
Talking to the news agency, Chief Engineer of KPDCL, Aijaz Ahmad Dar, said that a drive on the instructions of Managing Director KPDCL has been launched to act against the consumers whose outstanding is pending since long.
“We have already started a process in this regard and those whose outstanding is pending for more than three months for the past over three months will face the disconnection of power connection,” he said.
All the defaulters will face the action, he said.
However, he added that those who have not paid their electricity bills from the last one month or a two will be exempted.(KNO)
