Srinagar, Jul 16: Acting tough against Anti-national and anti-social elements, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla on Tuesday said to have booked one person under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority.
The booked person identified as Bashir Ahmad Beigh son of Ghulam Mohiuddin resident of Shirpora Chandoosa Baramulla has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Srinagar after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority, a police spokesman said in a statement.
Pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against him and was involved in disturbance of L&O and subversion. Despite his involvement in many FIRs, he did not mend his anti-national & anti-social activities, police said.(KNO)
