Bandipora, 11 May: A purported video/images of girl shown to be as minor victim of Sumbal rape case are fake & baseless.
The girl is stable & in good health.These videos /images are being circulated by anti social elements to disturb peace,harmony & brotherhood.
The general public is requested not to believe such rumours & do not forward or share such content on social media with out verifying.Strict action as per law will be taken against persons indulging in such acts.
So,far as Police investigation of the case is concerned ,On the directions of SSP Bandipora Sh Rahul Malik-IPS an SIT comprising of SDPO Sumbal, SHO Sumbal and Sr.PO has been constituted to investigate the entire case.
The Age confirmation of accused will be determined on the basis of scientific medical test to conducted by team of senior doctors.
