Srinagar, 01 Aug : Peoples Conference Chairman Sajad Lone Thursday questioned Abdullah duo for meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi without letting mainstream leaders of Kashmir know.
A National Conference delegation, led by former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday to discuss the situation in the state.
Taking to micro blogging site Twitter, Sajad Lone tweeted: “Reports suggest Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah to meet PM regarding Article 35A. What on earth happened to the supposed collective action? Is it a rush for brownie points or mercy petition for economic crimes. The innocent people of Kashmir will never know.”
Earlier Sajad Lone had alleged that National Conference seems to be more apologetic in defense of Article 35A and the intensity of Omar Abdullah to protect special provision is missing. (KNT)
