PAMPORE, April 25: A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a road mishap at Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening.
A motorcyclist Sahil Ahmad Ganaie (24) son of Shameem Ahmad Ganaie, resident of Samboora Pampore was seriously injured in collision between a motorcycle and Tata Sumo vehicle near Marwal Kakapora.
After receiving report of the accident, a police party from Kakapora immediately rushed to the spot and with the help of locals reffered the injured motorcyclist to the SMHS hospital,where doctors declared him brought dead.
A police officer said a case has been registered and driver of the vehicle has been arrested and his vehicle was seized. A pall of gloom descended on the Samboora village as the news of his death reached there.
