Srinagar, March 15 : Scores of Contractors associated with senior Contractors co-ordination Committee Kashmir today protested here at press colony srinagar.
While talking to Asiannewshub,Bashir ahmad khan chairman of the said committee said,that we are protesting here, because government is unable to release our payments.
He alleged that Rs07 crore of Contractors is still pending with the government for the last four years.
“We are protesting against pending liabilities, we have complained several times our department but no one is paying heed to our sufferings”, said Bashir ahmad khan.
The protesting contractors threatened to come out on the roads and forcibly lock all the treasuries if their payment was not released till 28th March. “Government is leaving us with no option but to come the on-road and take harsh steps,” they said.
Now we appeal government administration especially honourable governor Shri Satya Pal Malik to release our payments till 28th of march,if they failed to release our payments,we will start agitation and government administration will be fully responsible for the same,he added.
