Srinagar Jan 14: A Fresh Western Disturbance is set to affect the Kashmir Valley starting January 16, bringing scattered light snowfall to the region, according to KashmirWeather.
Following this, another Western Disturbance is expected to impact the Valley around January 19 and 20, leading to scattered to fairly widespread light rain and snowfall.
A Third and more intense Western Disturbance is likely to hit the region between January 21 and 24. This system is expected to bring fairly widespread light to moderate snowfall in the plains of the Valley, with moderate to isolated heavy snowfall anticipated in the higher reaches. Weatherman predict this disturbance will have a greater impact compared to the earlier ones.
Furthermore, a pair of Western Disturbances is expected to influence the weather in the Valley until the first week of February.
