Srinagar, 25th April: Anand Jain comes to head the State’s premier anti-graft agency with a vast experience of having worked on different assignments in the State and Central Governments, some of which are SP East Srinagar, SSP Baramulla(twice), AIG(Provision/Transport) PHQ, SSP Reasi, SSP Rajouri, SSP Jammu, Commandant IR 15th Bn, UIDAI(Govt. of India), DIG NIA (Govt. of India), and IGP(Hqrs.) Police Hqrs. J&K.
Immediately after assuming the office, in an introductory meeting with the Jammu based officers of Anti Corruption Bureau, Shri Jain rolled out a plan for quality and speedy investigation of cases/enquiries as also pro-active strategy to take on the menace of corruption.
