JAMMU-SRINAGAR (NHW-44)
Subject to fair weather and road condition, tomorrow traffic movement on the Jammu- Srinagar NHW-44 would be one way for both LMV’s/HMV’s which shall be allowed to move from Srinagar towards Jammu
Timing :
LMVs shall be allowed from Pantha Chowk/Bypass Peaks Chowk (Srinagar) towards Jammu from 0500 hours to 1300 hours and shall cross Levdora, Qazigund up to 1500 hours.
No movement of any LMVs shall be allowed from Pantha Chowk/Bypass Peaks Chowk (Srinagar) towards Jammu after 1300 hours and from Levdora, Qazigund after 1500 hours to avoid congestion on the NHW/ safety of the passengers. The commuters are requested/advised that avoid travelling during night hours.
HMVs/Load Carriers shall be allowed from Levdora, Qazigund from1400 hours up to 2400 hours.
These vehicles shall not be allowed to halt between Jawahar Tunnel to Nashree Tunnel. No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed after 2400 hours from Levdora, Qazigund towards Jammu.
No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from opposite direction.
MUGHAL ROAD:-
Decision regarding allowing of vehicular movement on Mughal road shall be taken tomorrow after assessing weather condition/ road clearance itself (in view of weather prediction).
SRINAGAR-SONAMARG-GUMARI ROAD:-
Decision regarding allowing of vehicular movement on Srinagar-Kargil road shall be taken tomorrow after assessing weather condition/ road clearance itself (in view of weather prediction).
Strict implementation of traffic plan/cut off timing shall be ensured .
People are requested to undertake journey only after confirming status of the road:-

Mughal road :- from TCU Jammu/Srinagar and
Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road :- from TCU Srinagar.
