Ganderbal, July 19: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were crushed to death when the bike was hit by a truck in Rayil-gund Sonamerg road in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Official said that two persons were killed after a a motorcycle bearing registration number HR22L-5351 was hit by a speedy driven truck bearing registration number JK02AG-5369 this morning in Rayil-gund.
A senoir police officer confirmed the incident and said the deceased have been identified as Bharat Bhushan(26) son of Ashok kumar and Gurlal singh son of kewal singh.
Both the deceased are residents of Haryana. The bodies have been sent to Sub district hospital kangan for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the accident. (KNO)
