Srinagar: The body of an unidentified man was recovered from Jhelum river in Parimpora area of Srinagar, summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, on Saturday.
Reports said that locals spotted the body of a man floating on Jhelum waters in Parimpora today morning following which they informed the police.
A police party reached at the scene and took the body in their possession, said an official.
He said the identity of the deceased was not immediately known.
