DIPR Holds Live Screening At Srinagar
Srinagar, August 23: In a remarkable feat, India has etched its name in history today as the Chandrayaan-3 successfully executed its soft landing on the moon’s surface.
The J&K administration said that the Vikram Lander of the mission flawlessly touched down on the south polar region of the moon at 18.02 IST on August 23, marking an extraordinary achievement for our great nation and the world.
This unprecedented achievement makes India the first country to achieve a successful landing on the southern polar region of the moon, a significant milestone in the realm of space exploration.
In Jammu and Kashmir, a wave of jubilation and elation swept all through as the news of successful landing reached every corner. From valleys to mountaintops, people remained glued to their television sets, witnessing this remarkable feat. Special screenings were also organised throughout the Union Territory of J&K.
The celebration of this ground-breaking achievement was also marked by live screening of landing at Raj Bhawan, Srinagar. Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha along with Chief Secretary and other senior officers of J&K administration witnessed the historic event. The Lieutenant Governor also extended his heartfelt greetings to ISRO and its entire team that has relentlessly worked towards the success of the Chandrayaan-3 Mission.
Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) also joined the celebrations of this remarkable feat and held live streaming of this historical event. Senior officers, officials, and staff members of the department gathered to witness this triumphant landing of Chandrayaan-3.
On this historic day, the entire DIPR family also extended its greetings to ISRO and its entire team for achieving this remarkable and ground breaking success. This achievement not only showcases India’s scientific capabilities on global stage but also represents a moment of immense pride for the people of the nation, particularly the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
