Srinagar, Oct 15: Moderate to heavy rain showers are expected over most plains of Jammu and Kashmir while moderate snowfall expected over higher reaches during next 36-48 hrs.
Few higher reaches may see heavy snowfall during next 36 hrs , there is a possibilities of seasons first snowfall over Sonamarg, Doodhpatri, Gulmarg, middle and higher reaches of Kulgam , Shopian,& Kupwara during above mentioned period.
Peak activity of the weather system will begin from tonight upto tomorrow late night.
No Snowfall prediction in plains of Kashmir Valley.
