The chief spokesman of JKLF Muhammad Rafiq Dar on behalf of party leadership and the people of Jammu Kashmir has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of illegally detained party chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik in Tihar Jail, Delhi.
In a statement issued to KNS, he said that Yasin Malik is suffering from an acute infection in one of his eyes from the last two weeks. He condemned the attitude of jail authorities including its medical team due to the negligence of whom his health condition is falling down day by day.
According to the spokesman, Yasin Malik is not being provided with the appropriate medical facilities in the jail which is his due right. Warning the Indian authorities of dire consequences if this ill-treatment continues with the party chairman, he asked the party leadership, spread all over the world, to show patience and wait party high command directives for any protests against Modi and his government for the callous and inhuman attitude towards the freedom loving Kashmiris in Indian jails.
“JKLF has the capacity to launch a political campaign all over the world against India for their repressive policies in Jammu Kashmir,” he added.
Spokesman said that the news of ill health condition of Yasin Malik has been a severe cause of concern for not only his family members but for party cadres and the millions of people of the State too who love and follow Yasin Malik.
In order to save Yasin Malik’s life, Dar appealed international and local human rights organizations like UNHRC, Amnesty International, Asia Watch and human rights defenders to take notice of his health condition and impress upon India to provide the basic human rights of a politically jailed leader like Yasin Malik.
He lamented on Indian authorities for not providing such rights to other freedom loving Kashmiri leaders who have been languishing in Indian jails for years together.
Meanwhile a high level JKLF delegation visited the residences of Chairman Tramboo Cement Industry (TCI) Abdul Ahad Tramboo and chief priest of Hazratbal Shrine Ghulam Hassan Bandey who passed away recently and offered condolences to their family while lauding their role in the freedom struggle of Jammu Kashmir.
They prayed to Al-Mighty Allah for their high place in Jannah and Sabr-e-Jameel to their kiths and kins.
