Budgam, July 20: A tragic incident unfolded in they Daharmuna area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday as a local youth died due to electrocution while repairing an electric wire.
Sources told that the deceased has been identified as Zahid Ahmad Paul, son of Ab Satar Paul, a resident of Daharmuna village.
Zahid came in contact with a live wire while attempting to fix an electrical fault, resulting in a fatal electric shock. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival, they said.
Police have taken cognizance of the matter and further proceedings have been initiated. (JKNS)
