At least eleven civilians were injured in clashes with the government forces near the site of a gunfight in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Sources told Greater Kashmir that eleven injured were brought to Public Health Centre (PHC) Rajpora for treatment,

“Ten were hit by pellets and they were being treated at the facility while one with head injury, most probably caused by a stone, was referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for further treatment,” said a health official at PHC Rajpora.
Reports said that youth took to streets and hurled stones on the forces as soon as the news of the gunfight in Hajin Payeen village spread in the area.
The forces, they said, responded by firing tear gas and pellets.
Earlier, a police official said that four militants were killed in the gunfight that broke out after the forces launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area.
The identity of the slain militants was not immediately known.
