A shutdown is being observed in Maisuma area of Srinagar city on Thursday against the shifting of JKLF chief Yasin Malik to a jail in Jammu.
Reports said that all shops and other commercial establishments remained closed in Maisuma.
Malik who was detained on February 22 was booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to Kot Balwal jail in Jammu earlier today.
