Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohd Ashraf Sehrai demanded immediate intervention of world human rights bodies and demanded impartial proceedings under war crimes tribunal of United Nations against the Indian barbarism, and the ongoing genocide of Indian forces on Kashmiris.

He asked the UN to intervene in Kashmir issue immediately and press India to shun violence and initiate process for granting right to self determination to end this bloodshed which India unleashed on Kashmiris.

Sehrai in his statement he said, the full scale war has been waged on innocents Kashmiris just to silence the voices and demand for right to self determination.

Sehrai termed the current inhuman and brutal onslaught on Kashmiri people a full scale war and warn authorities it will have serious consequences.

He said, Kashmiri people irrespective of their age and gender have offered priceless sacrifices of life and limb for the just noble cause and time is not far when the people would see the dawn of freedom in return of such pious sacrifices.

Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat paid highest tributes to the martyrs of Islamabad, Baramulla and Sopore and said our youth pushed to the wall and have no option left to take such extreme way to end this oppression and extreme subjugation.

He said while our youths offering priceless sacrifices on all fronts and we as a nation should indebted to these sacrifices and must take a pledge to safe guard their blood. And those who strive for a sacred cause never die and however achieve an eternal life and find place in history.

They are sacrificing their lives for our future and I assure my oppressed nation it won’t go waste and unnoticed. Delhi trying to crumble our freedom struggle with brute force and this kind brazen oppression doesn’t last long and the death of oppressor is bound and very near.

Sehrai appealed people to observe the complete shutdown on 27th October 2018 tomorrow as it was the same day when occupied forces landed on Kashmir with the help of protagonist Sheikh Abdullah and other stooges since then we have been witnessed ruthless occupation wherein over 5 lac Kashmir killed so far.

Meanwhile, Sehrai strongly condemned the continuous incarceration of Hurriyat leaders and activists in police stations and confining leaders to the four leaders and not allowing them to venture out of their homes.

Sehrai prayed for the speedy recovery of JKLF leader Mohd Yaseen Malik and demanded his immediate release including Aahraf Laya, Imtiyaz Haider, Yaseen Atai, Mohd Yousuf Bhat and other activists.

Sehrai denounces slapping PSA on Lateef Ahmed Dar of Chadoora and Zahoor Ahmed Dar of Kakapora and said such tactics will not deter leaders and activists when they had decided to take this movement to its logical end with complete conviction and commitment.
