Srinagar, Feb 20: In a tragic accident a government school teacher died after being hit by a dumper in Old Town Budgam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Quoting sources, the news agency JKNS reported that a government school teacher died after being hit by a dumper bearing registration number HR55AR-5574, and was driven by an unidentified person.
She was rushed to DH Budgam where doctors declared her brought dead, they said.
The victim was identified as Shaista, wife of Fayaz Ahmad Dar, a resident of Housing Colony Ompora, they added.
Police has taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
