Srinagar, Jun 01: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti announced on Saturday that she would not attend the opposition India Bloc meeting in New Delhi, citing personal reasons. “I might not be able to attend the meeting because my mother has undergone eye surgery,” she stated.
The opposition group’s top leaders met in the national capital this afternoon to assess their performance in the Lok Sabha elections and strategize for the results. Both the National Conference (NC) and PDP were invited. NC President Farooq Abdullah traveled to New Delhi from Srinagar on Saturday morning.(KNO)
