In view of single lane and poor surface of the road at Dalwas, Mehad-Cafeteria, Panthyal, Nachiana, Gangroo, Hingni, Kishtwari Pather etc. Management has decided tomorrow only one way traffic shall be allowed on Jammu Srinagar NHW (NH-44) till the road get double lane.

Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44)

Subject to fair weather and good road condition, only one way traffic from Jammu towards Srinagar shall be allowed on Jammu -Srinagar NHW.

LMVs shall be allowed from Nagrota (Jammu) from 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs., people are requested to be alert while traveling and be cautious of shooting stones and landslides and avoid travel if not necessary. Thereafter HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Kashmir upto 1800 after assessment of road condition.

No Vehicle shall be allowed after cut off timing.

Ss Convoy Movement:

Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of possible traffic congestion because of narrow carriage way between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. Tomorrow they may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of NHW from TCU Ramban.
