Govt forces have arrested two persons in nocturnal raids during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday at Saidpora-Bala village of Shopian in Southern Kashmir.
Reports said that the duo has been identified as Mohd Irfan Naikoo S/o Farooq Ahmad Naikoo and Mohd Shafi Naikoo S/o Mohd Mansoor Naikoo.
Local sources said that the forces in the dead of the night barged into the residential houses of the two and arrested them.
Meanwhile, the villagers have alleged that the forces also beat up other civilians during the raids.
