Jammu, Jul 05: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was found hanging in his official quarter in a suspected case of suicide in Jammu.

A CRPF spokesman told that one of their men posted in Group Center of CRPF Bantalab, Jammu found hanging in the officials’ quarters, where he resides. The official said that it was a suspected case of suicide, however, the cause as to why he took the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

The CRPF soldier identified as constable Manoj Malik (46) son of late Upendra Malik resident of village Mau Danshpur, district Samastipur, Bihar.

He was found hanging in his room at group center CRPF, Bantalab Jammu, where the soldier was posted at present.

His body has been sent for a post-mortem and an investigation is on, the SHO added.(KNO)
