In its continuous offensive launched by the Srinagar Police against menace of drug abuse, police party of Police Station Nigeen led by SHO Nigeen Shri Riyaz Ahmad Khan seized Charas and arrested drug peddler.
On 05.10.2018,a naka was laid by Police Station Nigeen & during naka intercepted one namely Riyaz Ahmad S/o Shamroz Khan R/o Gutlibagh Ganderbal & during his personal search recovered 106 gms of charas.The drug pedller was arrested and contraband substance seized.
Case FIR 112/2018 P/S Nigeen U/s 8/20 NDPS Stands registered and further investigation investigation taken up.
This effort is hugely hailed by the general masses. Police has appealed the general public to share all information related to drug abuse, so that curative steps can be initiated.
