Srinagar, June 06: Kashmir valley may experience the first heat wave of the year as temperature is expected to reach up to 35°C next week due to absence of any significant weather system/Western Disturbance till 11th June.

Such conditions can particularly be expected in Kupwara and Srinagar districts.

Most of the time during the next week, weather will stay dry and sunny, although the possibilty of thundershowers at a few places towards late afternoon/evening can’t be ruled out.

Heat Wave can also be expected in parts of Jammu region between 08 – 11 June.
