Srinagar, May 18: Hizb-ul-Mujahideen on Saturday paid tributes to the eight militants and two civilians killed in Shopian and Pulwama encounters.

In an emailed statement issued to KNS, Hizb Spokesman Saleem Hashmi quoted deputy chief Saifullah Khalid as saying that the Hizb pays tributes to the eight militants and two civilians killed in Pulwama and Shopian encounters.

The spokesman said that Saifullah Khalid in an address said that the Kashmiri people have been giving sacrifices for the last 71 years and one day they will get “freedom from India”.

The Spokesman said that the field commander of Hizb Mohammad Bin Qasim also pays tributes to the slain militants.

The Spokesman said that “Hizb will overcome the enemies and will get success in their mission.”

The Spokesman condemned what he called the “so called search operations, thrashing of people and blasting the houses of civilians” during encounters.
