Spokesperson Pakistan Armed Forces Major General Asif Ghafoor also confirmed on Twitter that IAF aircraft had crossed the LoC. “Indian Air Force violated Line of Control. Pakistan Air Force immediately scrambled. Indian aircrafts gone back,” he stated in a tweet.

“Indian aircrafts intruded from Muzafarabad sector. Facing timely and effective response from Pakistan Air Force released payload in haste while escaping which fell near Balakot,” he added in another tweet. He, however, has claimed that there have been no casualties.
