Srinagar: Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr J&K Bank’s digital and alternate channels have recorded more than 9 lakh transactions amounting to whopping Rs 572 Crore till 7 pm on Thursday. 

A senior bank official told that they feel delighted in having successfully served lakhs of esteemed customers ahead of the Eid as the bank’s digital and alternate channels have successfully processed over 9.5 million transactions today till 7 pm. 

He said bank’s mobile application mPAY processed over 3.5 lakh successful transactions today upto 7  pm, resulting in transfer of money amounting to Rs 104 crore. 

“ATMs also witnessed huge customer footfall since morning, dispensing Rs 350 crore in over 3.5 lakh successful transactions. Under UPI services, payments amounting to Rs 5.72 crore were made in 9.5 lakh transactions, while an amount of Rs 12 crore has been transacted in purchases through PoS and e-Commerce channels of the Bank in over 1 lakh successful transactions”.
