Jaish’s chief Masood Azhar

Days before the Pulwama attack, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) chief Masood Azhar had addressed the cadres of militants outfit and told them that “Pakistan is not complete without Kashmir” News Nation reported.

India had submitted the purported audio tape of Masood Azhar’s address to Pakistan as part of the evidence given by New Delhi to Islamabad against the activities of JeM and its chief in Kashmir.

In the audio tape, which is reportedly from his February 5 address, the Jaish chief is heard paying tributes to the militants killed in Kashmir. “Kashmir will attain freedom soon, along with freedom of all Muslims of India,” Azhar is heard saying in the audio tap.

In his address, he is heard claiming that “victory” can be achieved in a month if Muslims of Kashmir unite against India. “The US has come to negotiate in Afghanistan, India too will be compelled to beg for negotiations before the next Kashmir solidarity day. If all Muslims of Kashmir unite against India, victory can be achieved within a month…,” Azhar is heard saying.
