“Communal harmony prevails in the area”
Additional Director General of Police Law & order and security Munir Ahmad Khan on Friday said that restoration of normalcy is the top priority of the government and situation in Kishtwar and adjoining areas is peaceful and under control.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Munir Ahmad Khan said “Director General Police has already said it that the killing of BJP leader and his brother is the handy work of militants.
The killing has been condemned more by Muslims than the Hindus which shows that communal harmony prevails in the area even in these difficult times.
The Muslims are more shocked over the killings than the Hindus. The slain BJP leader was very much popular in the area. Restoration of peace and order is the priority of the government and we are keeping a close eye over the situation which is under control.”
