8 hours of daily hard-work helps me to achieve my goal, says Fiza

Srinagar, Dec 29: Fiza Nazir, the rising martial arts star from Fateh Kadal area of Srinagar, has made history by clinching the gold medal in the senior women’s -56.7 kg weight category at the Asian MMA Championship 2023 (IMMMAF), hosted in Bahrain.

Fiza Nazir’s remarkable victory at the prestigious championship not only brought pride to her home state but also signified a groundbreaking moment in her flourishing career.

Speaking to the news agency, Fiza said, “I am very happy after winning the gold medal.”

She added, “I trained myself for 8 hours a day to achieve the goal. My message to the budding talent of Kashmir is to always be disciplined, which helps them to achieve success.”

Furthermore, she appealed to the youngsters to stay away from drugs and indulge in the sports activities where they can showcase their skills and talent and make their family as well as the entire nation proud.
