Handwara, April 11: A class 7th class student was killed as forces opened fire after youth pelted stones at them in Mandigam area of Qaziabad, Handwara. Another one was injured.
As witnesses said that class 7th student identified as Owais Ahmad Mir S/o Mushtaq Ahmad resident of Mandigam Qaziabad was injured during clashes in Mandigam area.
He was rushed to SDH Kralgund where doctors referred him to Handwara in critical condition. Owais was declared brought dead by doctors in Handwara Hospital while another one was injured in the forces action.(KNO)
